helpnet: making steps to engage children and families in vital medical progress

With great pleasure I welcome our colleagues to the website of Hellenic Pediatric Network (HELPnet). The network is a collaborative work of a number of Greek pediatric researchers under the auspices and financial support of the European pediatric network conect4children (c4c, ). This network has been created with the goal of developing and studying novel and safe medicines and vaccines in pediatrics. Its members are academic and other pediatric departments around Greece that are very active in clinical research in neonates and children.

The c4c research network brings together pharmaceutical companies, paediatric national networks as well as EU multinational sub-specialty networks, large patient advocacy groups, children’s hospitals and other public research organisations from across Europe. The project consortium is a novel collaboration between academic and private sectors that includes 35 academic and 10 industry partners from 20 European countries, as well as more than 50 third parties and around 500 affiliated partners.
